After that, he focused on international activities and projects concerning sustainable biomass. In 2012, he co-founded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iinas.org\">IINAS<\/a> and works there as Scientific Director. His expertise is material-flow and life-cycle analysis of energy, materials and transport systems (see <a href=\"http:\/\/iinas.org\/gemis.html\">GEMIS<\/a>), and in developing sustainability scenarios with respective models and databases.
