He joined the <a href=\"https:\/\/eeg.tuwien.ac.at\/index.php?option=com_wrapper&amp;view=wrapper&amp;Itemid=69&amp;Name=Value\">Energy Economics Group<\/a> in 1999. He holds a degree in industrial economics and mechanical engineering and a Ph.D in energy economics at Vienna University of Technology. His research activities are sustainable energy systems with a focus on buildings, bioenergy, scenario development and optimisation of policy instruments for renewable and efficient energy systems.
