What the world should know about me
Sara Shapiro-Bengtsen has expertise in biomass, waste streams, and resource efficiency. She pursued her PhD in Energy Systems Analysis at the Technical University of Denmark, focusing on the use of residual biomass in, and beyond, the energy sector in China. Sara has experience in least-cost optimization and simulation tools for energy system modelling and analysis. Since September 2023, she has been a Consultant at Ea Energy Analyses, where she is involved in projects on biogenic carbon availability and applications, including biochar for carbon sequestration.
